The first annual offering of our Creek Club Cuvee program, and we could not have started off with a better wine. Intense fresh currant fruit is dominant right off the bat. Touches of a dusty character and crème de cassis are accentuated with light fennel seed and baker’s chocolate notes. The color is opaque, almost black, and the palate is incredibly rich but wound rather tight at the moment. The blend is rich with full, sweet, chunky tannins that coat the palate. Roberts Cuvee is a big brooding Bordeaux blend.
